Are you planning to go to college? Do you need to raise your ACT or SAT scores for college admittance? Did you know that the higher score you have the more scholarships you can apply for and receive? Raise your scores in a short period of time. Enroll in Stark State College’s Continuing Education ACT preparation program and get REAL results. Our test prep courses help you develop test-taking skills and strategies to beat the test. After taking an official retired test, our instructors will target instruction based on students’ needs. Materials include two official retired tests, Cambridge Victory textbook (1,000+ pages of skills, strategies, and practice tests). Bring a calculator to the first class.

Attain your goal of becoming a licensed Professional Civil Engineer by getting geared up and ready for the Spring PE exam! This course will focus on preparing students for the first half of the State of Ohio’s Principles and Practice of Engineering Exam. From the basics to reviewing detailed problems covered in the “Breadth” portion of the exam. Topics include: Geotechnical, Structural, Water Resources, Environmental, Transportation and the newly added Construction section.(Students are encouraged to have a copy of The Civil Engineers Reference Manual for this course)
