Welcome to Stark State College of Technology’s home page of the Beta Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa!  Our chapter was chartered on January 21, 1996, and since that time has inducted over 1300 members.  Beginning with its inception in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa has gained a worldwide membership of more than 2 million and 1200 chapters.  Since 2004, our chapter has achieved its 5-star status and has been awarded numerous chapter/individual awards Regionally and/or Internationally.  In 2005, 2007, 2008, and 2009, Beta Gamma Epsilon was named a Top 100 Chapter and in 2009 placed 3^rd Finalist for Most Distinguished Chapter in the nation!!  At the Ohio Region Awards Convention in March, 2009, the chapter was named the Most Distinguished Chapter in the Ohio Region.  All of this could not have been done without the support and dedication of the officer teams, the members, the alumni, and the Stark State College campus community.  Take a few moments to check out our Chapter’s website and find out more about our terrific society.  To learn more about Phi Theta Kappa and its history, visit www.ptk.org.
