The Home Inspection Institute has trained over 3,000 home inspectors nationwide. In just 40 hours, get the knowledge and skills necessary to open your own home inspection business. Tony Brueneman returns to Stark State to guide you through tools, techniques, ethics, necessary information about residential construction and mechanical systems, report writing, legal liability and contracts, marketing and business start-ups, and much more. You will participate in three on-site home inspections. Text, materials and a certificate from the Home Inspection Institute Cincinnati, Ohio are included in the course fee.

This online course is for anyone wanting to learn the core skills needed to evaluate homes and buildings for mold. You will first learn about basic microbiology, causes of mold growth, different categories of mold and their health effects. The course also trains students on how to perform a thorough mold inspection using a 5-step process. You will also learn the when, where, why and how to take mold samples and interpret the results.
