(North Canton, OH – October 1, 2009) – Stark State College will hold an open house on Sunday, October 18 from noon - 3 p.m. in the College's Student Services Center at 6200 Frank Ave. NW in Jackson Township.  Over 200 majors, options, one-year and career enhancement certificates will be showcased including new programs in 3-D graphics, entrepreneurship, homeland security, cyber security/computer forensics and biotechnology.

Admissions counselors and financial aid representatives will answer questions about admissions processes, federal and state aid programs, as well as scholarship opportunities.  Free blood pressure screenings, chair massages and refreshments will also be available.
