Congratulations to our new Fall 2009 members who accepted their invitation to become a part of the best student organization on the Stark State campus!

Now we just can’t stop there….we need to get the word out to all of the student body about Phi Theta Kappa.  Good as Gold Week is fast approaching – November 16-20.  This is our week to celebrate and talk to our fellow classmates about the Beta Gamma Epsilon chapter and the Hallmarks of Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Fellowship.  Let’s put our chapter in the campus spotlight and energize our college, build team spirit, build awareness on campus and explore the Society's mission!  Watch for more details coming soon on what great things we will have planned for the week.
      Please read up on the details of our big event – Honors Green Day – in this issue.  Also, before the end of the semester, we will have our giving tree and plan the annual holiday party for New Beginnings, a transitional housing facility for homeless and abused families.  And, we can’t forget about our Hallmark entries for potential awards on the Regional and International level.  The officer team and I will be preparing those soon for the February deadline.
