2013 Alumna of the Year

Jennifer Meek EellsIn recognition of her professional and community achievements, Jennifer Meek Eells was inducted into Stark State College’s Alumni Hall of Fame. Jennifer graduated from SSC in 1999 with an associate degree in human and social services. She recently completed her master’s degree in counseling studies from Capella University. Commencement 2013

Commencement Spring 2013The May 2013 graduating class received 660 degrees, including 38 Early College graduates who received their college degree before receiving their high school diploma. State Representative Kirk Schuring gave the commencement address, “Challenges and Opportunities of the Future.” Randy Kreinbrink, chair of the Alumni Advisory Council of SSC, welcomed the graduates as alumni and encouraged them to get involved and stay connected with other Stark State College alumni.

Flowers for sale. Did you know the Stark State College Alumni and Friends Association sold carnations before the 2013 commencement ceremony as a service project so families and friends could honor their graduates?

You’ll be able to view job postings, but must wait for approval to upload your resume. Employers have access to search your resumes and will contact you to see if you’re interested in an interview. The Stark State College Alumni and Friends Association is looking for volunteers for the Jackson-Belden Food Fest & Fireworks on Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20. What a great opportunity to add community volunteer experience to your resume. To volunteer, contact the JBCC at 330-833-4400.
