Dispute Resolution |
|
Stark State College of
Technology, especially the Disability Support Services Office (DSS),
support students in their right to file a grievance in situations
involving violations of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). Any grievance
procedures which apply to students who do not have disabilities also
apply to students with disabilities. The grievance procedures listed
below are additional procedures that apply to students with disabilities
who feel their rights have been violated.
It is the intent of the college and DSS to resolve all discriminatory
conflicts of students with disabilities who believe their rights have
been violated. In this effort DSS will work cooperatively with students,
staff, faculty, the administration, and necessary entity to resolve
issues and promote the rights of students with disabilities.
