APPLYING ONLINE:  All students wanting to take a College Credit Plus class must apply online with a Stark State College application.  All parts of this application will be extremely important in entering the correct data.  Please make sure that the student enters the correct:

• High School
• Social Security Number
• Citizenship Status
• Birthdate

HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPTS: We will need transcripts for every student.  It is only necessary to submit one, we do not need one each college semester.

SELECTIVE SERVICE NUMBER: Male students must apply at: www.sss.gov thirty days before or thirty days after their 18th birthday.  If they do not, a selective service fee will be assessed to their account.

USER NAME AND PASSWORD: All students will use the same format for the user name and initial default password.

• USER NAME: first initial of your first name, your full last name, your 2 digit birth month and your 2 digit birth day.
  • Example: Fredrick M. Smith, born 6/15/92.  User name would be:  fsmith0615

• DEFAULT PASSWORD: first, middle, last initial, period (.), and the first 6 digits of your social security number.
  • Example: Fredrick M. Smith, social security # 123-45-6789.  Password would be:  fms.123456
    If the student did not provide a middle name or initial, use an “x” for your middle initial.  Any concerns, please call the helpdesk at 330-494-6170 ext. 4357

ONLINE COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS COURSES:

• Must follow Stark State’s academic calendar.
• Students MUST log-in and complete their online “Succeeding Online Orientation” prior to the first day of class.

STARK STATE TRANSCRIPT REQUEST:  Students may request their college transcript from their mystarkstate account under the “my stuff tab”- request transcript or by accessing the following online link.
