Stark State College uses the Blackboard learning management system for all online course delivery. The quickstart guide below will help you become familiar with Blackboard:
Web students (W2, W3, W4)
You’re joining more than 4,000 Stark State students participating in online classes.
Students enrolled in a Web 2, 3 or 4 course MUST complete the Succeeding Online orientation course in Blackboard, which includes an online student agreement. The orientation and agreement must be completed before you will be permitted to enter your course(s). The orientation course and the agreement will be available before the start of each semester.
- Online student agreement (PDF)
You will NOT be able to access your Web 2, 3 or 4 courses until the online orientation has been completed. You will need to complete the orientation just once.
To access the orientation course, log in to Blackboard and locate the course Succeeding Online (required orientation). If you need help locating or completing the orientation, contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@starkstate.edu or 330-494-6170 ext. HELP (4357).
