Dear Stark State Graduate:
Unfortunately, due to the highly contagious Omicron variant of COVID-19 and our concern for your health and the health of all graduates, students, families, faculty and staff, we are cancelling the in-person commencement ceremony scheduled this Sunday, Jan. 9 at 2 p.m.
Like you, we were looking forward to celebrating your graduation in-person, and we are disappointed that will not be possible. However, we will celebrate with a prerecorded virtual event on the same day and time – this Sunday, Jan. 9 at 2 p.m.  We look forward to celebrating with you, your friends and family on YouTube and Facebook to honor you and other graduates who have worked long and hard to earn your college degree.
Diplomas and copies of the commencement program will be mailed out in the coming weeks.
