Computer Basics Workshops – Computer Bare Basics
These free and unlimited workshops, available to all students, offer help in using the computer. You can learn essential skills such as how to
- navigate the computer, including mySSC and Blackboard
- send an email
- file management (saving and finding files)
- uploading files to drop boxes (Blackboard)
- taking tests online

Your success coach or academic advisor can help you choose classes for upcoming semesters and implement other elements of your successful college game plan.

Testing Center
Here’s where you’ll get computer-based or pencil-and-paper testing specific to courses. Some courses allow you to take computer-based tests outside of class in the Testing Center, usually within a timeframe of three to four days.
