Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill | Military Services Orientation

The Monthly Housing Allowing (MHA) is typically the same as the Basic Housing Allowance (BAH) for an E-5 with dependents and is based on the zip code of the campus attending.

BAH rates during Fall & Spring semesters for 16 week classes:

12 credits or more (Full MHA/BAH)
9-11 credits (3/4 MHA/BAH)
7-8 credits (1/2 MHA/BAH)

NOTE: Chapter 33 students will NOT receive a housing allowance if enrolled in less than 7 credits in Fall or Spring.
