Artwork of Amanda Morena and Caleb Rex featured at Stark State College through Jan. 30

(North Canton, OH – Jan. 9, 2020) – Artwork by Amanda Morena and Caleb Rex will be featured in a showing through Jan. 30 in the Stark State College gallery on the second floor of the Student Center.

Morena’s exhibit is titled “Photos of Travels” while Rex’s display is “In the Thrill of it All.”\

“These images are a time stamp of a moment in my life of wonder and wondering,” Morena said of her modern art medium. Each piece is an experience in vacation travels from Canada, Key West and the Western U.S.

Rex, Morena’s nephew, said he has envisioned himself as “an artist with intent to use his platform to heal himself through releasing inner thoughts and emotions that are untranslatable through words.”

The public is invited to attend a reception for the artist from 6-7:30 p.m. Jan. 22 in S203 of the Student Center. Stark State is located at 6200 Frank Ave. NW in North Canton.
