Stark State College names new director of career services and workforce development

Amy Lane(North Canton, OH – Jan. 2,  2023) – Amy Lane has been named the new director of career services and workforce development at Stark State College, effective Jan. 3.

Lane, a North Canton resident, earned a bachelor’s degree in management science and a masters’ degree in organizational development, both from Kent State University.

She brings to Stark State more than 25 years of experience in higher education and workforce development, most recently serving as associate vice president for corporate and professional development at Kent State University. Spending the majority of her career with KSU, Lane held several positions, including executive director of regional corporate and community services, director of corporate and community services at Kent State at Stark and coordinator of business outreach, also at Kent State at Stark.

A graduate of Leadership Stark County, Lane boasts an extensive list of professional development experience including Lean Six Sigma, DiSC®, Emotional Intelligence, Gallup Organization Discover Your Strengths, and more.
