(North Canton, OH – Jan. 4, 2022) – Stark State College is set to graduate 388 students at its virtual summer/fall commencement Sunday at 2 p.m.
The College will award 421 associate degrees in business, education, engineering technologies, health, human and public services, information technology, liberal arts, mathematics and sciences.
The commencement speaker will be Michelle Igleheart, the College’s 2020-2021 Distinguished Teaching Award winner. She also was named the 2019 Outstanding Dietetics Educator in Ohio and the US Central Region by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, a master’s degree from The Ohio State University and is currently enrolled in a doctoral program.
Igleheart currently serves as an assistant professor and program coordinator for Stark State’s dietetic technician and dietary manager programs. She also is the student Food and Nutrition Club advisor and has been a member of many College committees.
