(North Canton, OH – March 28, 2024) – Stark State College will host an information session on Wednesday, April 3, to help currently enrolled Eastern Gateway Community College (EGCC) students continue and complete their academic programs. The session will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on EGCC’s Youngstown campus at 101 E Federal St.
Prospective students from the region are also encouraged to attend to learn more about Stark State College’s excellent, affordable associate degree programs that lead to immediate, rewarding employment.
“Stark State College offers the quality, affordability, value, classes and support services to help these students earn degrees and certificates that prepare them for immediate employment in high-demand fields and/or university transfer,” said Dr. Para M. Jones, Stark State’s president. “We’re ready to help students enroll for summer and fall semesters.”
During the session, students will be introduced to Stark State. They also will learn about teach-out versus transfer opportunities and hear how the College is working with EGCC at the state level for impacted students, including tuition rates and options for those students who live out-of-state.
