Mission: Stark State College Alumni and Friends Association provides access to quality career counseling for members seeking advancement within a current organization, movement between organizations, or attaining a career change. The Alumni & Friends Association is dedicated to career success through completion of career path goals while advancing business and community partnerships, promoting professional development, providing mentoring and networking opportunities, and creating a positive community impact.

In recognition of her professional and community achievements, Jennifer Meek Eells was inducted into Stark State College’s Alumni Hall of Fame. Jennifer graduated from SSC in 1999 with an associate degree in human and social services. She recently completed her master’s degree in counseling studies from Capella University. 
The May 2013 graduating class received 660 degrees, including 38 Early College graduates who received their college degree before receiving their high school diploma. State Representative Kirk Schuring gave the commencement address, “Challenges and Opportunities of the Future.” Randy Kreinbrink, chair of the Alumni Advisory Council of SSC, welcomed the graduates as alumni and encouraged them to get involved and stay connected with other Stark State College alumni.
